#FinishTheJob 2019-20
Two years ago we shocked the world with our first-ever election wins in Chester County.
Last year, we swept into Congress and the State House in a historic wave.
We’ve made a good start, but now begins the work to #FinishTheJob this year and next.
This year, judgeships, county and municipal governments, and school boards are on the ballot.
These are the folks who will most directly affect our lives on a daily basis: from socially compassionate, people-centered interpretation of our laws to setting our property tax rates and paving our roads, to ending bullying in our schools.
Not only that, but the people we elect this year will gain the experience and name recognition they’ll need to run for higher office in years to come.
Bottom line: THIS YEAR IS IMPORTANT!
In fact, it’s so important, that at our January 10th KAD meeting, we voted to open a campaign headquarters this year…the first time we’ve ever done that for county and local elections!
We can’t afford to take a year off as we anticipate 2020. The work we do this year–building our volunteer and donor base–will in many ways determine our chances for success in 2020.
