The Martin Luther King Jr. CommUNITY of the Greater Kennett Area is hosting a VIRTUAL Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Conference, “TO SEEK JUSTICE” celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. King and the 20th Anniversary of the MLKCommUNITY Breakfast.

The Virtual Conference starts TODAY, Jan. 17th, at 1PM with a workshop entitled Suspicion…Why and at What Cost? which will be exploring the historical roots of racism in our country and how they manifest in our present-day interactions, followed by a breakout discussions starting at 1:55PM.

The schedule covers a variety of topics from roots of racism to educational and environmental justice to ‘Post-Trump Stress Disorder’ all culminating with a musical tribute to Dr. King on Monday evening from 7:30-8PM.
