The Kennett Area Democrats are so much more than the political organization that asks you to vote twice a year. We are deeply involved in community service to our 10 municipalities.*This year, we were sponsors of the Martin Luther King CommUNITY Breakfast and the Kennett Area Community Services ‘Empty Bowls’ event. We will have tents at the Cinco de Mayo Festival and the New Garden Flying Field ‘Festival of Flight.’ We will march in the Mushroom Festival Parade.

We will again provide $1,000 ‘Be The Change’ Awards to graduating seniors from each of our 3 area high schools who have made a difference in their communities.

And we are inaugurating our ‘Help-Portrait’ Project in which we will give free, professionally-taken, framed family and individual photographs to those who otherwise could not afford them.

And yes…we work year-round to elect Democrats to fight for our values in Washington, Harrisburg, West Chester and our local municipalities. This year–for the first time ever–we will open a campaign headquarters to support all of our county and local candidates.
