Help Nelson

We are asking for your help for Nelson. He is a legal asylum seeker from Venezuela. He and his wife, Ariel, a US Citizen were beginning their new life together in Kennett Square, PA.

In June 2026, Nelson was detained by ICE – just one week after their wedding celebration. Nelson is currently being held in Moshannon, and has been detained over 50 days, despite complying with all instructions from immigration officials since he arrived.

Please join us at Kennett Library, Sat Aug 29 from 12:30-3:30pm to write letters and postcards of support for Nelson. Drop in any time. Click here for more information.

Please consider donating to Nelson and Ariel.

Learn About How You Can Help

Your Voice Matters. Your Vote Matters. Be part of the massive voter turnout in NOV to start reining in the destructive actins of ICE.

Help Elder

We are asking for your help for  Elder. He is an 18 yr old young man being held at Winn Correction Center in Louisiana. Carlos Della Valle, of Downingtown, was held in the same unit and tried to help keep Elder’s spirits up while they were held in detention together.

Please consider donating to help Elder. ALL FUNDS will support Elder’s legal fees and commissary account (for phone calls and food).  Thank you for your compassion and generosity.

Our neighbors are struggling because of the ongoing destructive actions of ICE. ICE continues to patrol our streets in the greater Kennett area and detail multiple people per week – ICE is quiet and under the radar but cause great harm to our neighbors. Our donations have made a difference. Thank you.
