About Chris
Chris Manning is a 15-year resident of East Marlborough Township, where he lives with his wife, son, and daughter. Both children attend Unionville/Chadds Ford Schools. He currently serves as an elected member of the East Marlborough Township Board of Auditors.
Chris has been active in our community, volunteering with Southern Chester County Soccer Association, Unionville Recreation Association, Unionville Community Fair, UHS Wrestling Boosters, UHS Baseball Diamond Club, and UHS Used Book Sale.
Professionally, Chris has nearly three decades of public service and public policy experience. He currently serves as Senior Executive Advisor to the Delaware Valley President at Nemours Children’s Health, where he previously served as Director of External Affairs.
Prior to returning to Nemours, Chris was Vice President for Community Impact and Government Affairs for a national affordable housing real estate company. Earlier in his career Chris worked in the Office of City Legislative Affairs under NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg and was Assistant Commissioner for Intergovernmental Affairs at the NYC Health Department. Chris began his public service career with the American Heart Association.
Chris holds a Master of Public Administration degree from NYU and earned his bachelor’s degree in community health from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
