Abolish ICE
We Must Not Look Away
Instead of allowing people to attend their immigration hearings, etc and live with their families and work in their communities to support those families, they are now being held in concentration camps with no timeframe for release or due process or bond hearings. This is against our Constitution.
In addition, as taxpayers, we are paying huge sums to the Geo Group and other private prison companies to hold people, where there was no such cost to us in the past.
Incarceration costs taxpayers $131 or more each day. Electronic monitoring costs $15 each day.
Talk about waste, fraud and abuse.

Kennett Friends Fund for Immigrants
Our neighbors are struggling because of the ongoing destructive actions of ICE. ICE continues to patrol our streets in the greater Kennett area and detain multiple people per week – ICE is quiet and under the radar but causes great harm to our neighbors. Our donations have made a difference. Thank you.
